After a case is filed with a court, the one party thereto may apply to the court for attachment of the property of the other party if he believes the judgment of the case will not be honored, or will be hard to be honored because of conducts of that other party or other reasons. The court may order the applying party to provide security before effecting the attachment. Upon acceptance of the application, the court shall, in the case of urgent circumstances, enter its ruling within 48 hours; if the court rules in favor of the applicant, it shall accordingly take immediate action contemplated in the ruling.
Before a case is filed with a court, one party to a dispute may apply to a court for attachment of the property of the other party if failure to promptly effect such attachment will lead to irreparable damages or loss to the legitimate interests of the applying party. Upon application, the applying party shall provide security failing which his application shall be rejected. Upon acceptance of the application, the court shall enter its ruling within 48 hours; if the court rules in favor of the applicant, it shall accordingly take immediate action contemplated in the ruling. Where the attachment referred to in this paragraph is granted, the applicant thereof must lodge a complaint with the court within 30 days of granting and otherwise, attachment shall be removed.
