It has been a commonplace phenomenon in Beijing, Shanghai and other big cities in China, a forein person marries a Chinese. However, international marriages are of two facets. On one hand, it is an exotic and exciting experience in one's life and on the other hand, the persons involved may have to face up to unexpected hurdles arising from different cultures and legal norms.
